Set me free

It may seem crazy, but I love the repetitions
Call me boring, call me a loyalist
Whatever floats your boat
Give me one thing for me to do, eat, and be at for a month,
and I will be back in thirty days, waiting for you at the same place

Sometimes I feel like a cow
You tug my nose ring as if you own my life
When you tell me to go left, you want me to do so without asking questions
When you ask me to do things, you want it done without doubts in my mind
Has it ever occurred to you that I have a mind of my own?
I need to understand, not to follow blindly
I wish to rationalize my own reasonings
I am able to differentiate right from wrong
Do what makes you happy, and let me do mine
Because I am happy with my consistent life...

You're a year older today than yesterday...

No matter how hard I want to deny it
I never fail to stare at my phone a tad longer on this date
Remembering the box I shyly gave you that day
It might not seem much
but it was my heart wrapped inside the box
My cards laid out on the table
The goods and bads, all there faced up

As you welcome another year
I hope the very best for you
May you grow wiser as days pass by us
May you be blessed with health and happiness
And may you make every year counts
Happy birthday...

You're worth it!

I never seen a diamond have to find a man who can treasure it’s value and appreciate its worth. Good women are diamonds in that regard, but even a diamond must know its own worth and what it deserves; commitment.
